Mobility Products With V.A.T Relief
All our mobility products are available with V.A.T relief at checkout if the customer’s disability qualifies. The process is simple, just shop in our online store as normal and when you get to the checkout make sure to mark that you are eligible and write us a small note about your condition and the V.A.T will be removed from your purchase price. If you have any questions about how this works, just pick up the phone; we are always happy to chat and give any advice and help where we can.
How to know if you qualify for disability V.A.T relief
The Government has guidelines on who is eligible for V.A.T relief when buying mobility products, please check the list below to see if your disability qualifies.
In order to qualify to purchase a product VAT free, your disability has to qualify. The Government considers you disabled or have a long-term illness if:
You have an impairment (either physical or mental ) that restricts your ability to carry out normal everyday activities.
You have a condition this is considered and treated as a chronic sickness, like diabetes.
You are terminally ill.
Sadly you do not qualify if you’re elderly but not disabled, or if you’re temporarily disabled.
